Editorial Guidelines

How we work

These are the standards every piece on Cadence is held to. We publish them openly because trust should be verifiable, not assumed.

Who writes for us

Every article is written by a named author with genuine, relevant experience — a manager, recruiter, researcher, or operator who has done the thing they're writing about. We don't publish anonymous content, and we don't publish from writers without a real track record in the subject. You can see each author's background on their profile page.

How a piece is made

Every draft is reviewed by an editor before publication. We check that the advice is specific and actionable, that claims are supported, and that the piece earns the reader's time. If an article cites research, data, or a source, we link to the original wherever possible so you can check it yourself.

Our position on AI

Cadence is written by people. We use software for ordinary tasks like spell-checking and scheduling, but our articles are researched, written, and edited by humans whose names appear on them. We do not publish machine-generated articles dressed up as human work, because we think you deserve to know who is actually talking to you and why their view is worth your time.

Independence

Our editorial decisions are made independently of any commercial relationship. We don't accept payment to publish, review, or promote anything. On the rare occasions a piece contains an affiliate link or mentions a partner, it is clearly labelled, and it never changes what we would have said. If we can't recommend something honestly, we don't recommend it.

Accuracy and corrections

We try hard to get things right, and when we don't, we fix them in the open. If we make a factual error, we correct the article and add a dated note explaining what changed. We never quietly delete or rewrite history. To report a mistake, email corrections@ggmeonline.top — we read every one.

Our promise to readers

Written by experienced people. Reviewed by an editor. Honest about money. Quick to correct mistakes. Useful enough to be worth your time.

What we won't cover

We stay in our lane on purpose. Cadence does not publish investment or financial-trading advice, medical advice, political commentary, or celebrity and entertainment news. When a topic touches money or health — say, negotiating a salary or avoiding burnout — we keep strictly to practical workplace guidance and point you to a qualified professional for anything that needs one.

Contributing

We occasionally accept pieces from experienced practitioners. If that's you, read a few of our articles to get the tone, then email a short pitch to pitches@ggmeonline.top explaining the idea and why you're the right person to write it.
